Distinctive features:
- Compact size, light weight
- 2 MB program memory + 2 MB data (enough to download catalogs up to 18,000 titles), or 4 MB variant (from summer 2009)
- The terminal can have a laser barcode reader, or a linear imager reader with extended range (up to 29 cm).
- Monochrome LCD display 100×64 dots (1.5×1 inch, matrix 12×4 or 16×8 characters), with switchable green backlight
- 21-key chiclet keyboard with green LED backlight
- 2 ENTER keys are located on both sides of the terminal, making it equally comfortable to use with either hand
- Communication between the terminal and the stand is carried out contactless, through the built-in infrared port at speeds up to 115.2 Kbps. The absence of pin connectors increases the reliability of communication and the service life of the terminal
- Interface stand for 8000/8001/8061/8071, can be connected to a computer via RS232 (COM port) or USB interface
- Super low power consumption (over 100 hours on a single charge for 8000/8001)
- Russified, for programming are offered Application Generator for Windows, C and BASIC, DLL and 1C-component
