BIOCAL Calcium oxide:
Photopolimerizable Calcium Hydroxide, BIOCAL is a photocurable and radiopaque Calcium Hydroxide composition cement.
It does not inhibit the polymerization of self-curing or light-curing restorative resins. Formulated with dentin-like coloration, which allows avoiding staining of the material in the final restoration with composites and composite resins.
BIOCAL present high resistance to dissolution for phosphoric acid used in the conditioning by etching of dental structures.
Its formulation also offers a potential for adhesion to metal dental surfaces by acting as a spacer in prosthetic repairs.
